1. Who We Are
These Terms of Use govern your use of the CREA Certification website (creacertification.org) and associated services operated by Zakeli Technologies Limited (Company No. 17156553), registered in England and Wales, trading as CREA Certification.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or registering for a CREA certification, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
3. Certification Rules
The following rules apply to all CREA certification examinations:
- Each registration includes two examination attempts. Additional attempts may be purchased separately.
- Passing an exam on the first attempt voids the second attempt — it cannot be transferred or refunded.
- Examinations must be completed by the individual registrant. Impersonation or proxy examination is grounds for permanent disqualification.
- From 1st October 2026, all exams will be 100% webcam proctored with identity verification. Before this date, exams are self-paced and unproctored.
- CREA-AI-SM requires a valid CREA-SM credential. CREA-AI-PO requires a valid CREA-PO credential. Registering without the prerequisite will result in exam denial without refund.
- Certificates are issued digitally upon passing. Physical certificates are not issued.
- CREA reserves the right to revoke certifications in cases of proven exam misconduct, misrepresentation, or conduct that brings the CREA brand into disrepute.
4. Payments and Refunds
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. The following refund policy applies:
- Full refund available within 14 days of purchase, provided no exam attempt has been made.
- No refund is available once an exam attempt has been initiated.
- Additional attempt purchases are non-refundable.
- In the event of a technical failure during an examination caused by our platform, a free replacement attempt will be issued.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on creacertification.org — including exam questions, curriculum materials, course content, branding, logos, and website design — is the intellectual property of Zakeli Technologies Limited and is protected by UK and international copyright law.
- You may not reproduce, redistribute, or share exam questions or curriculum content in any form.
- You may not use the CREA name, logo, or branding without written permission.
- Certificate holders may display their CREA certification credential on CVs, LinkedIn profiles, and professional portfolios.
6. Certificate Display
Upon passing a CREA exam, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:
- Display your CREA certificate on your LinkedIn profile via the official LinkedIn credential feature
- Reference your CREA certification on your CV, professional profile, and job applications
- Use the designation "CREA-SM", "CREA-PO", "CREA-AI-SM", or "CREA-AI-PO" (as applicable) after your name in professional contexts
This licence is revoked upon certification expiry or in cases of misconduct as described in Section 3.
7. Website Use
- You may use our website for lawful purposes only.
- You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our platform or systems.
- You must not use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from our website without prior written permission.
- We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to users who breach these terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Zakeli Technologies Limited shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of our services
- Loss of income or employment opportunities attributed to holding or not holding a CREA certification
- Technical failures of third-party services (Stripe, LinkedIn, etc.)
Our total liability to you in connection with any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant certification.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
